Elisabeth Hasselbeck might be on her way out at The View -- a so-called source tells Us Weekly her contract isn't being renewed.
The snitch says that ABC execs have polling data that suggests that her conservative political stance is costing the show viewers, and as a result, they'd like to let her go. But if Elisabeth is being canned, it apparently won't be anytime real soon. We were in touch with a rep for the show, who tells us, "Elisabeth Hasselbeck is a valued member of The View and has a long-term contract."
This news comes on the heels of Joy Behar's announcement that she won't be returning to The View.
Promoter Live Nation said in a statement, "Unfortunately, following her sold-out concert on Friday, Rihanna has contracted laryngitis and per doctor's instruction is unable to perform this evening." The show is expected to be rescheduled for a later date.
The singer took to Twitter to express her disappointment. "This is the hardest thing for me to deal with! I feel like we've been waiting on this day forever, and I'm hurt that I let you down. I hate disappointing people that never ever let me down!! I'm so embarrassed about this! Thank you for your prayers and well wishes!"
Rihanna kicked off her current trek on Friday in Buffalo, New York and it's expected to resume on Tuesday in Baltimore.
