Normally I don't really give a thought to Donald Trump.  When he first started his apprentice show...I liked it.  It was good, interesting, marketing stuff that interested me.  Now...pah....overkill stuff.

But his name did catch my eye this morning.  There is a news story out that talks about an online petition for Macys....to dump Trump.

And oddly, I agree with it.

His latest political rantings and ravings and throw downs have been stupid...crazy...no reason at all, but to act like a little child throwing a tantrum over nothing.

So...what does a parent do when that happens?  Walk away.  And I am kinda thinking thats what the petition is about...and I think its right.

I saw the Macys holiday spots the past few days...and having Trump in them struck me...as....kinda icky.  I don't know why other then his latest behavior.  All the others in the ads I was fine with...but I think that Trump in there actually ruined them.  Funny line at the end of one talking about how if Santa could win HIM over then he would have really proved himself.  Yeah, funny...but still don't like the ads with him in them.

I almost think it would be better to have the old Santa imposed with customers/ actors....or something.

But I gotta say....and sorry if you are a Trump fan....But I agree, Macys needs to dump the Trump this holiday season.

And like the story I read online...they said that since Trump is such a big pusher of charity, perhaps he could instead be standing outside the Macys stores...ringing the bell for charity instead!!
