After a long weekend, its a bit hard to still be Thankful when that alarm goes off....but part of me is!

I am very thankful that Thanksgiving dinner turned out GOOD! ( sorry mom!)  But it all was yummy...and because of my actual planning before hand of the sides and prep times ( I know!  Didn't know I had it in me either!) it all went very very smoothly.  And there were leftovers...of course!  Managed to get the traditional turkey sandwich too! ( a leftover roll, with turkey, mayo and pickle!  Best part of the whole thing!)

Very Thankful that Longhorn BBQ did a great job cooking the turkey for me too!  MOIST turkey...nice change. :)

Thankful that I was able to knock out some of my xmas shopping on Saturday.  Not joyful when I realized how much it all cost...but about half of it is done. Yay.

Also Thankful that the girls enjoyed their first "Rock" concert too.  Mark and the girls all went to see TSO Friday nite.  I was in CDA for the lighting fun.  But I had to stay up late to see what the girls thought of it.  ( it was a big change from Disney on Ice the weekend before!)

Rissa claimed:   that she is never going to another rock concert. ( hahaha)  That it was TOO loud...TOO many crazy lights....and was NOT impressed with all the pyro.

Ella claimed:  It was fine.....then I later learned that she made it thru the first half, the xmas story...then curled up in her chair and SLEPT thru the rock concert part of the show.  Pretty impressive to sleep thru a TSO show.

Again, I am Thankful for the weekend....and the chance to get back to normal again...for a few weeks at least.
