Barbara Walters take on the most interesting people of the year comes up next week on TV...Dec 12.  Now there is always a list of people, and then one in the MOST top spot.

And there is usually a lot of...um...talk about the people she picks.

This year is no different! :)

We don't know who has the top spot this year yet....that will be revealed in the show, but we can guess.  This was a political year, so...Obama maybe?  Romney?  Those I can see in the top spot.

But who knows?  I can't recall what was hot or who was hot last January or February....or even last week! :) hahahaha

But one person on her list of notables is already raising eyebrows....and jiggle-jaggle too.  That would be Honey Boo Boo CHild.  Or 7 year old Alana, who was seen in Toddlers and Tiaras and then got her own reality show featuring her real and a bit off of center family.  And  a lot of people don't get it....don't "get" why Barbara would pick her.

But I do.  And Barbara does too.  Its not the red-neck, the lifestyle or the beauty pagents....altho Alana does clean up good...very pretty in her pagents!

But its the relationship of her and her mom.  And really, the Mom and all the daughters, but her and her mom.  THe mom is rather unconventional...to say....but in watching the show....its clear that she loves her family.  She has a houseful of girls....and she doesn't look to get rid of them....to get away from them .... but to enjoy them.

IN the last episode of the show this past season, the mom June said it plain and simple.  She doesn't care what people think of them....doesn't care what they say...doesn't care about house rules and such, she is more into making memories with her family.  She is more into making sure they are all spending time together and getting the most out of it.

Even when her first grandchild was born with an extra thumb, she just accepted it and said that everyone is different and special.  And that it doesn't change the way the family feels about the child.  Its more about how the child and the family can all grow together and make memories together.

Thats what makes Honey Boo Boo and the family interesting.  Because in this day in age, in the "reality tv show" era, they aren't into the drama...they are still focused on being a family.

A different one, but an entertaining one at that. Tongue out
