So there was a few of us talking about holiday shows the other night...and it came up, which one is the best??

Now we were talking TV shows...not movies, cuz thats a whole other can of worms!!

But it started with Rudolf the red nosed reindeer.  Someone said they just watched it, recalled watching it when they were younger, but this time realized that its actually kinda sad.  And it is...until the very end.

And Frosty the snow man....the cartoon...fun, but the drama with him and the girl...she is freezing, he can't heat up....doesn't really come to you until you watch it when you are older.

Then of course are all the other second generation ones of rudolf, Olive the other reindeer... frosty returns...new shows that they have made too.

But I still think....hands down...that the best is the Charlie Brown Christmas.  I even own it on DVD. :)  The girls like it too.  Its a fun message....on the real meaning of christmas...but too, its just fun and simple.  It wouldn't be the holiday season without it.

And altho I don't think I have ever seen colored christmas trees until this year actually.....we all still know and recognize a "charlie brown tree" when we see it.

its the best tv show when catch phrases from it are still around today...or they actually make and sell those charlie brown trees!!!
