No, this isn't one of those "privacy posts" about Facebook.  Well, maybe it is!

I know of a few adults who have talked to their kids about being careful what they post onto their FB accounts.  Posting certain things can give people the wrong impression about you....that it can come back to get you later in life....or even get you in your life currently.

Of course the kids very rarely listen!

Which is why this news story from Astoria OR totally caught my eye!  Finally....hard proof to show the kids that we DO know what we are talking about!!!

A Facebook message seen by an Astoria police officer helped land an 18-year-old suspect in jail New Year’s Day.

Around 1 a.m., Astoria police found evidence two cars had been hit on 5th Street.

Later in the day, officers got Facebook messages from two people who said Jacob Cox-Brown had posted this on his Facebook page: "Drivin drunk... classsic ;) but to whoever's vehicle i hit i am sorry. :P."

Officers went to Cox-Brown's house and found a vehicle that had damage that matched the victims' cars.

Cox-Brown was charged with two counts of failing to perform the duties of a driver.
