I will say right now that I do not usually post anything really all that shocking or fight-starting, but to quote my daughters....He started it!

He being Pat Robertson.  Again, not something I would normall post or watch or talk about.  This might even be the first time ever that I have even seen or heard anything from him. And its likelyt he last thing too!!!

But it caught my attention....then kind of got my hackles up too.  He said that its ugly and un-kept women that cause the problems in marriages.

Yeah.  He said it.

It started by a boy writing in wanting his Dad to stop playing video games and to pay more attention to his mom.

Pat said that perhaps his mom wasn't as nice as he was making her out to be and that perhaps she wasn't taking care of herself and so her husband had lost interest in her.  So that its basically ALL her Fault....all up to her??

Uh...NO. :)

Now he did suggest a romantic getaway to try to rekindle the romance...and that is a good suggestion.  Perhaps the day to day work of keeping up the house and the life has stopped the romance between them in which case then yes...they need to getaway and find each other again...enjoy each other again.  But to just blame the wife....no no no.

Just as many men let themselves go as do the women.  Each has issues.  Yeah, its a bit harder I think for the woman to keep it all up and going look wise.  For some sick and twisted reason, most men end up getting better looking with age and us ladies...well we work harder at it.

But to just say that its all us.  He is cruising for a bruising!! :)  That little "story" about the lady going to the reverend for help....not helping you ol Pat.

I feel rather sorry for the woman married to him for 58 years.  I hope she "accidentally" whacks him a good one in her sleep.

And really, I do beleive that each person needs to keep themselves healthy and happy and in good shape....thats just to keep yourself happy and to be able to enjoy your life together.
