That sometimes its just hard to be a parent.

But this time I don't mean when you have to enforce the rules and your kids misses out on something....or when you know that they are hurting you there is just nothing you can do....

I mean....when your kids make you think that they are crazy.

I found myself thinking just that last nite on the way home from work.  I had Ella in the backseat and we were talking about somethings.  I asked her again if she still planned on being a Pet Doctor, or a Designer or a "builder" when she got older.

She said yes...but maybe building fashion clothes...for pets.  Like dresses and jewelery.  For cats.

Yep.  She's crazy.

She then went about giving me a very detailed description of a dress she could make for a cat.  Straps...not ribbons...a rose print...square top...and a skirt that would go to about the knees.  I then pointed out  that cats don't really have knees...so she said then to the middle of their legs.

I was driving and trying really really hard not to laugh out loud.    But, I will be a supportive Mom...encourageing her and her dreams...and drawing the line when she starts putting little tin foil hats on the cats to keep out the space aliens. Tongue out
