Today is the kick off for Girl Scouts to sell their Cookies!! And we all love the Thin Mints, the Tag a Longs, the Samoas...and the rest of the others that rank lower in my opinion!
Even out of those 3 that I mentioned, the Tag a Longs would be the last to go....but I haven't ever had "left over cookies"?? Not even sure that that means! BUT, should I ever find myself in that situation, well, there are recipes to take care of that!
Yes, I really did google GS cookie recipes and was suprised to see a rather lenghty list of them. The most obvious ones are the ones that take the cookies and make them into another dessert. Like taking the thin mints and making a chocolate-mint cheesecake with it. Or the tagalongs and smashing them over a chocolate sundae...all good!
Then I found BrownieBakers.com, I beleive its a GS site, but wow...they had some inventive and good ideas!
Like taking the Samoas and making a coconut shrimp out of them....or putting them into a trail mix...or even a recipe for a Samoa curry!!!
Brave enough to try them? Me....maybe...but I would have to actually HAVE some LEFTOVER to use them for that! And I have never had that problem...not yet!
