There are some things about todays instant information world that drive me crazy....we often get news/information on things that we really don't care about and from people we don't really care about.
But...sometimes its a good thing!
Like the other day when the news got a hold of the lawmaker from Seattle who said that people riding bikes put gases into the air too and was proposing a $25 tax on bikers. Admittedly dumb move on the guys part....and many years ago would have likely gone un-noticed too. But not now! This story spread like wild fire, mostly because it was just a dumb thing to say and made us a bit afraid of just who is a lawmaker these days!
But, because the story was brought to a national level, the seattle dude had the chance to "rethink" what he said and admit that...well...its not really true. ( really? I am shocked! hahahaha)
Now he admits that he spoke out of frustration and not really science. And he recants the statement, altho he still supports putting a tax on those who bike.
Sooooo close to getting this guy back to the real world...and yet....nope!
