No, this isn't a political or religious statement....its a statement that I read about one of the men on the shortlist to become Pope. It made me laugh...so I thought I would pass the story along!! Check it out below!
Austrian Cardinal Christoph Schoenborn has made the short list of possible popes, but his leading detractor is ... his mom. "The whole family is afraid that Christoph will be elected pope," says 92-year-old Eleonore Schoenborn. She gripes that if her son gets the job, "it is over for me ... I will not see Christoph ever again because I no longer have the strength to travel to Rome." While some say Schoenborn's support for gays could stand in his way, that's nothing compared with his mother's loud mouth. "Christoph would not be up to the bitchiness in the Vatican," she says, explaining that he hates when people are dishonest. "
Anyone else notice that its HIS 92 year old Mom saying that basically he can't get the job because then he won't be able to come home and visit her? 
Most Moms would be bursting with pride to have their son be Pope...guess this one isn't one of those!!!
