Ok, not really....its just a joke, but its a joke that might not be that far off.

First of all, its a product called Pet Sweep and its four small mop-like slippers that fit on the feet of your dog or cat and then they dust the floors ( and clean them) as they walk around your home....or if the cats are like mine, as they sit and walk on the table tops, the counters, basically they places I don't want them!

Reality check - No.  No dog or cat that I know of would actually keep the things on their feet, allowing that you were even able to get them on in the first place.  BUT...just think of it for a moment!!!

My Mom bought me a pair of human slippers that have a mop-like bottom on them...they really do make them...altho No, I haven't used them!  But that means that it really IS an idea that could be possible.  AND people are always dressing up their cats and dogs...sweaters, coats, halloween....and I have even seen on some web sites that they offer wigs and such for cats too! ( Something only those with tin foil hats likely order tho.... )

So it COULD happen.  And really, for all you do for the animals in your family...food, care, love....its only reasonable that they find a way to give back...by finally helping to clean the house!!!

Or at least dust the places that I never seem to remember to get! Tongue out

Check out the story here!

You give your animal so much love and attention. Perhaps it’s time they started paying back the favor. Well, one company is offering you the option with “Pet Sweep,” tiny mop like cleaning swipes that fit snugly on the paws of your dog or cat. The technical term for the innovative home cleaning product is a “Animal-Powered Debris Removal System.”

Ok, the whole thing is actually a prank.

But we’ve run the photo by a few people and they unanimously believed it to be real until they got into the details provided by fictional creator "Todd Lawson." The Lawson Facebook page actually contains a series of hilarious fake animal products and scenarios, including a helpful reminder to not share your food with your pets during flu season.

The best part is you can actually order the “Pet Sweep” box if you want to pull the prank on one of your friends or loved ones. The box itself is empty, but at just $8, it’s worth it if you’re into harmless pranks.
